This is one more recipe from our friend Siva and his great work on frying all the ingredients seperately and blending it together to a great ridgegourd shrimp fry. Friends who all tasted this , just appreciated him a lot...first they were surprised to hear ridgegourd blending with shrimp...but each got a bite and wanted to have more. The main work here is to fry shrimp and ridgegourd seperately and then mixing it together and cooking again.

Shrimp - 3 cups
Ridgegourd - 2 ( peeled and chopped fine...check for bitterness)
Onions - 1
Tomato - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Masala powder - 1 1/2 tbsp( or can use 1/2 tbsp chilli powder, 1/2 tbsp dhaniya powder and 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder)
Salt as needed

(Masala powder for Siva included all combination of powders that he came across like chilli, dhaniya, jeera, chicken 65, chicken masala).

Heat 1/2 tsp of oil and fry ridgegourd till it is very soft...keep it aside.
Heat 1/2 tsp of oil and fry shrimp seperately till is well cooked and the also the smell leaves.
Heat 1 tsp of oil and add onions...fry very well till golden brown...next add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute...next add chopped tomatoes and fry till they soft and very pulpy...now add all the powders...and also cooked shrimp and ridgegourd...add salt...reduce flame and cook till almost all the water is absorbed.
